Budget cuts from Sacramento seriously threaten one of the great assets of our community – the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District. At least 59 of our excellent teachers will be laid off, and the school will suffer from the loss of librarians, nurses, counselors, music programs and much more unless we all help raise $1.2 million for the Save Our Teachers Now! Campaign. This money will be specifically earmarked to save jobs across the district. The goal of this campaign is to:
• Maintain Small Class Size
• Keep Academic Counselors
• Preserve instructional programs in music, technology, science, libraries and P.E.

In collaboration with the PVPUSD, PVP Council of PTAs and Booster Clubs, the Peninsula Education Foundation is taking donations specifically to save these jobs for next year.
